Job summary

Witherslack Group is seeking an IT Field Technician to install, maintain and troubleshoot technology across our sites in the North East. You will visit classrooms and offices, provide daily end-user support and ensure equipment remains up to date and well-maintained to support our young people.

You will need a driving licence to visit multiple sites region‑wide, and the role includes a DBS check. We offer a rewarding career with a strong focus on making a difference in education and care.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Office applications.
• Experience supporting iPads, ideally in educational settings.
• Networking fundamentals and troubleshooting.
• Hardware and software troubleshooting across devices.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and troubleshoot IT across offices, classrooms and homes.
• Visit sites across the region to provide proactive end-user support.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues to keep systems running smoothly.
• Ensure equipment is installed and maintained to support bright futures.
