Job summary

Luxfer MEL Technologies invites an IT Engineer to join our IT team on site in Swinton, Manchester. You will support Windows and Microsoft 365, cyber security, networking, and endpoint management while helping users across UK and US operations.

You will provide first and second line support, maintain technical documentation, and contribute to IT service improvements. The role requires 37 hours per week, 10am–6pm onsite, with occasional travel to the United States.

Qualifications

• Essential IT support experience across Windows and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site IT support to users at Swinton site and remote support as needed.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and device issues.
• Support Microsoft 365, Windows, mobile and endpoint technologies.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Install, configure, and deploy IT equipment.
• Assist with cybersecurity platforms and endpoint management.
• Maintain technical documentation and asset records.
• Contribute to IT service improvements and technology projects.
