Job summary

Class Technology Solutions Ltd (CTS) is seeking an on-site IT Engineer to support education sector sites in Reigate. You will join a 2nd Line Support function at client site with potential to work at secondary site, requiring practical IT skills and proactive problem solving.

The role focuses on configuring hardware/software, Active Directory, Azure AD and Microsoft 365 administration, plus providing timely helpdesk responses and documentation.

Qualifications

• GCSE Grade 5 or above in Maths and English or equivalent.
• Industry IT qualifications preferred (Microsoft, Cisco, Aruba, Apple).
• 2–3 years’ IT helpdesk or IT Support experience.
• Understanding of switching technologies in networks.
• Ability to work independently and in a team under pressure.
• Education sector experience desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist IT support that ensures learning facilities run smoothly.
• Set up and check hardware and software for normal operation.
• Build and configure networked PCs and image deployment.
• Maintain Active Directory, Azure AD and MS 365 administration.
• Update helpdesk tickets and SLAs.
