Job summary

H Squared Talent Ltd is seeking an Internal Sales Administrator in Carlisle to act as the first point of contact for sales enquiries, keep the inbox tidy, and ensure no enquiry is missed. The role supports a busy sales team with admin and data entry, with full training provided.

You will work on-site daily in a busy engineering environment, prioritising tasks, liaising with customers, and using spreadsheets and databases to manage information efficiently.

Qualifications

• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise a busy workload.
• Clear, confident communicator; able to liaise with customers and manage the sales inbox efficiently.
• Experience in sales support, admin or order-processing is advantageous but not essential; strong organisational ability is key.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for incoming sales enquiries and manage the sales inbox.
• Identify patterns in enquiries, process repeat quotes efficiently and keep the sales team focused on priority tasks.
• On-site daily, support a busy sales function with accurate data entry and timely updates.
