Job summary

Fire Integrity Limited in Matlock is seeking a Fire Protection Estimator for a full-time, on-site role. You will review drawings, quantify materials and labour, and develop cost breakdowns for passive fire protection services, including intumescent coatings, fire compartmentation, and cementitious sprays.

You will collaborate with project managers, site teams, suppliers, and clients to clarify requirements, obtain quotations, and ensure estimates meet technical standards and regulatory

Qualifications

• Experience in construction or fire protection estimating, reading and interpreting drawings or specifications.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with proficiency in estimating/spreadsheet software.
• Knowledge of passive fire protection systems, UK building regulations, and industry standards; willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings and specifications to quantify materials and labour.
• Develop cost breakdowns for services such as intumescent coatings, fire compartmentation, cementitious sprays, and fire door installations.
• Update and maintain pricing databases; support tender submissions and value engineering.
• Collaborate with project managers, site teams, suppliers, and clients to clarify requirements and ensure regulatory compliance.
