Qualifications

• Proven estimating experience within passive fire protection.
• Strong reading of drawings and specifications for take-offs.
• Excellent Excel skills and commercial judgment.

Responsibilities

• Price tenders for firestopping and compartmentation packages.
• Estimate planned and reactive maintenance contracts.
• Complete accurate take-offs from drawings, surveys and specs.
• Build rates covering labour, materials, plant, access and preliminaries.
• Obtain competitive quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Attend site visits and client meetings as required.
• Provide handovers to Contracts and Commercial teams.
• Review completed projects against original estimates with the QS.
• Feed lessons learned back into future pricing and tendering.
