Job summary

Mitchell Maguire is seeking an Estimator – Passive Fire Protection based in Mansfield. The successful candidate will estimate various fire protection services, produce competitive quotations, and manage project budgets efficiently.

Applicants must have extensive experience in passive fire protection or related fields, along with strong communication and organizational skills. The remuneration ranges from £45,000 to £65,000, along with a discretionary bonus and 25 days annual leave.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as an Estimator in passive fire protection, fire doors or fire stopping required.
• Strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential.
• Must demonstrate teamwork and high levels of organization.

Responsibilities

• Estimate a range of passive fire protection services.
• Produce and review competitive quotations.
• Build relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
• Prepare and oversee project budgets and cost plans.
• Manage risk and value considerations.
• Assume overall responsibility for quotation costing and tenders.
• Estimate projects worth up to £1.5 million.
