Job summary

Passive fire protection contractor is seeking an experienced Estimator to join the commercial team. You will produce accurate estimates for fire stopping and fire door projects, with project values ranging from £10,000 to £500,000.

The role reports to the commercial team and offers hybrid working (1 day per week from home) and a secure long-term workload across NHS, university and public sector estates in the Northwest.

Qualifications

• Previous estimating experience within passive fire protection.
• Ability to price fire stopping and fire door projects.
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication with operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed estimates for fire stopping and fire door projects.
• Review drawings, specifications and tender documents.
• Build estimates using internal cost models and pricing strategies.
• Ensure estimates reflect delivery capability in liaising with teams.
• Support pre-construction activities as required.
• Monitor market trends and pricing in passive fire protection.
• Prepare accurate quotations within tender deadlines.
