Job summary

Landmarc Solutions is seeking a Site Operative to join our team at Nesscliff Camp, near Shrewsbury. You will maintain training estate facilities, clean accommodation blocks, and support a safe, sustainable living environment for Armed Forces trainees.

The role is permanent, full-time and on-site with shifts from 08:00 to 16:00. A UK driving licence is essential due to rural site location; no prior experience is required as training is provided.

Qualifications

• General housekeeping and caretaking knowledge.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety and COSHH procedures.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to complete documentation.
• Basic IT skills with ability to use a tablet.
• Applicants must hold a valid UK driving licence due to the rural location of this site (essential).

Responsibilities

• Looking after the camp's general cleanliness, ensuring it is fit for purpose.
• Cleaning offices, communal facilities and accommodation blocks, including ablutions, shower blocks etc.
• Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and vacuuming.
• General building maintenance.
• Basic grounds maintenance.
• Stock management tasks.
• Complete all relevant documentation utilising both IT and paper based systems.
• Carry out any other additional requirements as needed.
