Job summary

Randstad UK is seeking an Account Specialist to be the on-site backbone at one of our client sites in Peterborough. You will split time between face-to-face stakeholder engagement and keeping back-office systems running smoothly, ensuring day-to-day operations are organized and positive.

The role emphasizes worker and client engagement, onboarding new starters, maintaining accurate live data, managing lifecycle and ER activities, and reporting back to the Account Manager to support growth.

• High attention to detail and strong data management skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary face of the service, managing daily worker engagement for temporary staff and conducting client service meetings.
• Onboarding: ensure new starters have a strong start by regular check-ins during their first weeks.
• Maintain 100% accurate live data within systems and databases.
• Conduct regular formal check-ins with staff, proactively handle assignment extensions, and oversee the leaver process.
• Report back to the Account Manager to support growth and relationship objectives.
