Job summary

Acorn Recruitment is recruiting for a Documentation Specialist (Contractor) on behalf of Cytiva's Automation, Digital & Learning Solutions (ADL), based 100% on-site at the Harbourgate site in Portsmouth.

The contract runs until 31 December 2026, with potential extension, and the role supports the Documentation Excellence team in delivering documentation strategy and project compliance across global automation and digital projects.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience.
• 0-3 years' experience in document control or engineering documentation support.
• Experience supporting project engineering, design, commissioning, or qualification documentation.
• Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain documentation structures within PDM systems and SharePoint.
• Develop and manage documentation deliverables lists with due dates and ownership.
• Support customers, Regulatory Affairs, and EHS with milestones.
• Create templates, guidelines, requirements docs, and test cases in ALM tools.
• Generate and manage new project documents and part numbers in PDM.
• Create and support Bills of Materials where applicable.
• Facilitate workflows for Engineering Change Orders/Requests.
• Ensure compliance with design processes and documentation standards.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to define documentation needs.
