Job summary

NRL Recruitment is seeking a organised Document Controller for a large-scale construction project based on site in Ellesmere Port, North West. The role is fixed-term until October 2028 and requires meticulous document handling across engineering, construction or energy environments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in document control within engineering, construction, infrastructure, or energy environments.
• Strong understanding of document control principles, quality management systems, and ISO standards.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage high volumes of documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience using electronic document management systems; PIRS familiarity is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Register, distribute, store, retrieve, and archive all project documents.
• Maintain accurate document control systems and revision tracking throughout the lifecycle.
• Review documentation for completeness, accuracy, formatting, and quality standards.
• Coordinate document flow between project teams, suppliers and stakeholders to milestones.
• Administer EDMS and produce regular document status reports.
• Support continuous improvement of document control processes and systems.
