Job summary

Mane Contract Services is recruiting an experienced Document Controller for a major energy infrastructure project in Yorkshire. This is a site-based role with responsibility for day-to-day management, control and distribution of project documentation on site.

You will ensure access to the latest approved drawings, technical information and records for site teams, managers and contractors, while maintaining compliant filing systems and handling document revisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in document control within construction, engineering, utilities, energy or infrastructure.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Good IT skills and experience using document management platforms.
• Previous site-based construction or engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Managing technical drawings, project correspondence, QA documentation and project records.
• Controlling document revisions and ensuring the latest information is issued to site teams.
• Maintaining accurate electronic and hard-copy filing systems.
• Managing document distribution and tracking outstanding information.
• Supporting site audits, quality checks and project compliance.
• Acting as the main point of contact for document control queries on site.
• Liaising with engineers, site management, contractors and office-based teams.
• Maintaining certification, inspection records and other project documentation.
• Supporting project close-out and handover activities.
• Using electronic document management systems to maintain accurate project records.
