Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water is recruiting an Emergency Logistics & Planning Coordinator to oversee the daily workload of the Emergency Logistics team in line with SEMD and Water Quality regulations. The role requires coordinating site and depot water activities, ensuring regulatory compliance, and participating in a 24/7 standby rota.

Reporting to the Water Logistics Manager, you will manage vehicle and driver compliance, tanker movements, and data accuracy for cost reporting, while supporting

Qualifications

• Formal qualification (HNC or above) or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience coordinating site and depot based water activities.
• Experience with reactive logistic operations and governance to ensure compliance.
• Experience in SEMD and Water Quality regulations 2016/2022 and practical implementation.
• Experience in compiling data to meet regulatory reporting requirements.
• Incident management experience.

Responsabilités

• Organise and monitor daily activities of Emergency Logistics technicians including equipment deployment/collection and daily/weekly checks.
• Ensure all emergency logistics and maintenance activities follow IMS processes and sustainability principles.
• Ensure vehicles and drivers meet Operators Licence requirements, including inspections and defect reporting.
• Monitor tanker movements and ensure data accuracy for cost reporting.
• Respond to Water Quality failures and manage tankers to avoid unwholesome water (VOR).
• Health and Safety supervision for all involved in Emergency Logistics activities within the area.
• Support stockpile management and SEMD kit procurement.
• Participate in incidents, including information gathering for stakeholder reporting and Silver teams.
• Assist with DWI response documentation and milestone reporting.
• Audit processes to identify weaknesses and act as escalation point.
