Job summary

Connect Appointments is recruiting an On-Site Coordinator to join our team, based at a client’s site in Blantyre. This hands-on, people-focused role manages our temporary workforce on site day to day, from morning check-ins through to workforce planning and strong client relationships.

You’ll be the first point of contact for workers and the client, keeping the operation running smoothly on both sides. This is a temporary ongoing position, Monday to Friday, 6:15am to 3:15pm.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in recruitment onsite management or production environments.
• Strong communication and organisational skills with a hands-on approach.
• Able to balance multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced setting and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily attendance checks and source replacements when needed.
• Meet new starters, allocate PPE and carry out site inductions.
• Update attendance records, timesheets and manning schedules.
• Perform production floor walk-rounds to monitor PPE and compliance.
• Conduct performance reviews and maintain training records.

As an On-Site Coordinator, your duties will include:

• Conducting daily attendance checks and sourcing replacements where needed
• Meeting new starters, allocating PPE and carrying out site inductions
• Updating attendance records, timesheets and manning schedules
• Carrying out production floor walk-rounds to monitor PPE and compliance
• Conducting performance reviews and maintaining training records

To be considered as an On-Site Coordinator, you will need:

• Previous experience within recruitment, onsite management or a production environment
• Strong communication and organisational skills with a hands-on approach
• Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel
• The ability to balance multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
• Good attention to detail and accurate record keeping
