Trane Technologies is seeking a Field-based Service Technician to service customer sites, diagnose system problems, perform Planned Preventative Maintenance, and deliver high-quality service experiences on installed equipment.

You will collaborate with the service desk, sales, and operations, use diagnostic software and MS Office, and build strong customer relationships while adhering to health and safety standards. A UK driving license and right to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in service or field-based technician role.
• Strong knowledge of customer service principles.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to motivate technicians to deliver customer experiences.
• Effective communication skills.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in using Apps, diagnostic software, and MS Office Suite.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose system problems when servicing products and equipment on assigned projects and customer site visits.
• Attend customer sites to carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), breakdowns, warranty work, hire and commissioning workloads.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted point of contact.
• Collaborate with Service desk, Sales, and Operations to share customer insights and requests.
• Use diagnostic software, hand-tools, and blueprints/engineering specs to diagnose and repair units.
• Generate regular reports on completed invoiced work orders and update CRM as needed.
