Job summary

Warwick College Group is seeking a Specialist Learning Mentor to work on-site in the UK. The role focuses on 1:1 mentoring, classroom support, and administrative duties to track student progress, retention, and achievement. DBS clearance and safeguarding compliance are required.

You will work within SEN/ASC teams, liaising with tutors and parents as appropriate, and you will undertake Team Teach training and invigilation duties when needed. роли require dedication to student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate English and Maths at Level 2 or equivalent.
• Qualification relevant to Specific Learning Difficulties at Level 2 or above.
• Experience with assistive tech and ICT.
• Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of learners.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 mentoring and in-class support as directed by SEN Team Leader.
• Assist lecturers with material preparation/adaptation for named students.
• Promote independent learning using technology.
• Act as a key worker for designated students to support EHCP outcomes.
• Support EHCP annual reviews and learners progress reviews.
• Collaborate with tutors to monitor and review targets.
• Communicate with parents as appropriate.
• Assist in exams as invigilator or support (Reader/Scribe).
• Attend meetings and undertake training including Team Teach.
• Support student work experience placements as needed.
• Maintain accurate student progress records.
