Job summary

Rail Gourmet is recruiting an On Board Host for TransPennine Express at Edinburgh Waverley Station. The role offers £13.65 per hour plus commission and part-time 16 hours with rotating shifts across early mornings to evenings.

Applicants should have at least 2 years in a customer-facing role within retail/leisure/hospitality and will receive full training. You will travel on trains, provide at-seat trolley service, and work toward sales targets while ensuring safety and hygiene standards.

Job description

On-Board Host for TransPennine Express (TPE) at Edinburgh Waverley Station.

Pay Rate: £13.65 per hour plus commission

Hours: Part Time (16 hours).

Shifts: Rotational shifts between 5:00am and 10:00pm, working flexibly. (We currently have roles that are either working only at weekends, or every Sunday plus one or two days per week as required.)

Due to some responsibilities within the Onboard Host role, applicants will need to be 18 years of age or over to perform certain tasks or work on certain shifts.

Adaptability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, including long hours and varying shifts.
