Job summary

Growthnext Stepsat is seeking an Offsite Standardisation Manager with an electrical/mechanical bias to lead standardised offsite (OSM) product development and adoption. Location is Leeds, with openness to other locations, and you will collaborate with technical, offsite manufacturing, design, estimating and project delivery teams to embed solutions in designs and on-site.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in mechanical/electrical building services projects.
Background in offsite manufacturing, DFMA, or standardisation within construction/MEP.
Strong communication skills with ability to drive change and influence stakeholders.
Experience with BIM processes and digital engineering (Revit libraries, data structures).
Understand construction methodologies, costing and programme impacts.
Experience in developing repeatable products or standard solutions.

Responsibilities

Health and Safety Leadership: Champion a safety-first culture in all activities.
Product Development: Identify and continuously improve standardised offsite products in collaboration with project teams.
Strategic Alignment: Ensure products align with business strategy and establish a structured product roadmap.
Design Collaboration: Work with designers to incorporate standardised products into designs.
Innovative Thinking: Promote DFMA and modern design approaches.
BIM Coordination: Maintain standardised products in the Revit library with the BIM team.
Tender Solutions: Include standardised products in tender solutions and cost models.
Project Support: Assist project teams in adopting standardised products and address barriers.
Feedback Loop: Capture learnings and identify opportunities to expand the product suite.
Market Awareness: Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships to support product development and adoption.
Central Point of Contact: Facilitate communication and resolve challenges.
