Job summary

Growthnext Stepsat is seeking an Offsite Standardisation Manager to lead standardised offsite products, with a mechanical/electrical bias, in Leeds (open to other locations). You will collaborate across technical, design, estimating, and project delivery to embed standardised solutions on-site.

The role requires experience in DFMA, BIM processes, and developing repeatable products, balancing safety, cost, and programme impacts while driving adoption across projects.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in mechanical/electrical building services projects.
• Background in offsite manufacturing, DFMA, or standardisation within construction/MEP.
• Strong communication skills with a proven ability to drive change and influence stakeholders.
• Experience with BIM processes and digital engineering (Revit libraries, data structures).
• Solid understanding of construction methodologies, costing, and programme impacts.
• Experience in developing repeatable products or standard solutions.

Responsibilities

• Health and Safety Leadership across activities.
• Develop and improve standardised offsite products with project teams.
• Align products with business strategy and create a product roadmap.
• Collaborate with designers to embed standardised products in designs.
• Promote DFMA in design for manufacture and assembly.
• Coordinate with BIM to maintain Revit library.
• Include standardised products in tender solutions and cost models.
• Support projects in adopting standardised products and address barriers.
• Capture learnings and expand the product suite.
• Monitor industry trends to enhance our offerings.
• Engage stakeholders to support product development.
