Job summary

Growthnext Stepsat is seeking an Offsite Standardisation Manager with a mechanical/electrical bias to lead development and adoption of standardised offsite products. Location is Leeds, with openness to other UK locations.

You will drive DFMA, BIM integration, and ensure alignment with strategic goals across design, estimating, and delivery teams. You will champion safety, collaborate with internal and external designers, and steer a product roadmap that expands the standardised solutions across

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in mechanical/electrical building services projects.
• Background in offsite manufacturing, DFMA, or standardisation within construction/MEP.
• Strong communication skills with ability to drive change and influence stakeholders.
• Experience with BIM processes and digital engineering (Revit libraries, data structures).
• Solid understanding of construction methodologies, costing, and programme impacts.
• Experience in developing repeatable products or standard solutions.

Responsibilities

• Health and Safety Leadership: Champion a safety-first culture in all activities.
• Product Development: Identify and continuously improve standardised offsite products with project teams.
• Strategic Alignment: Ensure products align with business strategy with a structured roadmap.
• Design Collaboration: Work with designers to embed standardised products in designs.
• Innovative Thinking: Promote design for manufacture and assembly (DFMA).
• BIM Coordination: Maintain standardised products within the Revit library with the BIM team.
• Tender Solutions: Include standardised products in tender solutions and cost models.
• Project Support: Assist project teams in adopting standardised products and addressing barriers.
• Feedback Loop: Capture learnings and extend the product suite.
• Market Awareness: Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships to support development and adoption.
• Central Point of Contact: Facilitate communication on offsite standardisation.
