Job summary

ScottishPower is seeking a Wind Farm Controller to oversee HV operations, SCADA monitoring, and offshore logistics between onshore and offshore sites. You will verify authorisations, coordinate vessel transfers, and ensure safety across all activities.

The role requires CP3 level HV authorization or equivalent, strong communication, and the ability to respond quickly to alarms while maintaining efficient generation and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as Control Person under High Voltage Safety Rules (HVSR) up to 66kV or CP3 level.
• Proven ability to interpret SCADA alarms and coordinate HV switching operations.
• Experience coordinating offshore logistics and marine transfers.

Responsibilities

• Act as Wind Farm Controller managing HV operations and HV switching schedules.
• Coordinate offshore transfer of personnel/equipment by vessels with approved permits.
• Monitor weather/sea conditions to decide go/no-go for offshore activities and ensure safety.
