Job summary

Taylor Hopkinson is seeking a Power Control Specialist for a major Offshore Wind Farm Developer in the United Kingdom. You will perform real-time monitoring and control of generation and transmission assets, manage SCADA alarms, and carry out HV control activities up to 66kV while coordinating with TSO/DNO/OFO stakeholders.

The role requires experience in real-time SCADA operations, strong electrical background, and excellent communication in English.

• Electrical safety and operational procedures knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Real-time monitoring and control of generation & transmission assets.
• SCADA alarm handling and escalation.
• HV control activities up to 66kV.
• Coordination with TSO / DNO / OFTO and O&M stakeholders.
• Supporting safe switching, outages and maintenance activities.
• REMIT operational notification.
