Job summary

ScottishPower Renewables is seeking a Field Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations across a portfolio of wind farm sites in Scotland. You will lead small, dynamic teams, ensuring safety, environmental and technical standards are met while coordinating with subcontractors and internal stakeholders.

The role requires hands-on wind turbine experience, strong safety discipline, and the ability to manage site activities from inspection to issue close-out.

Qualifications

• Educated to an HNC/HND/City & Guilds level or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical discipline.
• Practical knowledge of electro-mechanical generating plant and safety rules.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiar with SCADA systems and windfarm operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all site activities and safety risks are managed per SPR systems and ISO standards.
• Conduct site inspections and audits; generate weekly/monthly reports with corrective actions.
• Manage subcontractors to ensure safe, compliant site work and timely close-out of issues.
• Carry out wind turbine inspections and fault resetting per Wind Turbine Safety Rules.
• Support area budgets and contribute to site-specific operating procedures.
