Job summary

ScottishPower in Lowestoft is seeking a Senior Windfarm Controller to manage HV switching and offshore logistics. You will monitor SCADA, coordinate vessel transfers, and ensure safety with HV safety rules across offshore wind sites.

The role requires CP3 authorisations and strong communication within an international team, with a competitive package including health cover and shift allowances.

Qualifications

• Experience with high voltage operations and CP3 authorisation levels.
• Knowledge of SCADA systems used in wind farms.
• Familiarity with VTS/HV safety regulations and offshore operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform HV switching operations and prepare switching schedules.
• Coordinate transfer of personnel/equipment via marine vessels.
• Monitor weather and sea conditions to determine access to work sites.
• Support Outage planning with senior authorized persons and site managers.
• Ensure adherence to HVSR/HV safety rules and site procedures.
• Liaise with control centres and asset integrity teams for support.
