WSP is seeking an HV Cable Engineer to join the Offshore Engineering Team, delivering HVAC and HVDC cable design tasks from concept to detailed design. You will work with a specialist team to ensure high-quality, safe outcomes across offshore wind and interconnector projects.

This role involves client-facing work, collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, and opportunities for professional growth within WSP’s offshore portfolio. Hybrid UK working is available.

Formación

• A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in offshore cable engineering or marine renewables desirable
• HVDC experience (onshore/offshore) desirable; HV cable design knowledge appreciated

Responsabilidades

• Apply HVAC inter-array and export cable knowledge for design tasks
• Develop cable system designs and specifications
• Prepare calculations for cable ratings, installation constraints and electrical characteristics
• Coordinate with project managers and suppliers to progress tasks
