Job summary

The Crown Estate in London is seeking a Portfolio Optimisation Manager Offshore Wind to oversee operational excellence within our offshore wind portfolio and to drive value, revenue and capital growth. You will lead data analysis, risk management and compliance, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimise systems, processes and commercial outcomes.

A strong track record in asset and investment management within offshore energy is essential, with the ability to influence change

Qualifications

• Proven track record in asset and investment management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyse complex data.
• Strong commercial acumen to drive revenue and capital growth.
• Understanding of contractual agreements, investment management, and financial processes.
• Proficiency in data, compliance, and risk management.
• Familiarity with offshore sector or related sectors.
• Analytical mindset to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
• Strong collaboration to work closely with sector teams.
• Ability to influence change without direct authority.
• Experience applying financial and commercial concepts to business situations.
• Attention to detail whilst maintaining sight of wider business implications.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing data analysis and dashboards for portfolio performance to senior management.
• Oversee contract compliance with health and safety regulations and standards.
• Implement risk management strategies and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Identify opportunities for value optimisation and growth through due diligence.
• Drive continuous improvements in systems and processes with cross-functional teams.
• Develop standardised processes, tools, and best practices and measure performance.
• Lead forecasting of income and capital value growth and align with targets.
• Ensure offshore wind data accuracy and coordinate with external advisors.
• Coach teams to build a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Develop capability of Asset Managers to improve systems.
