Job summary

SBM Offshore N.V. seeks a Cargo Superintendent to lead offshore cargo and cargo-utility operations, ensuring safe, compliant performance across the unit. You will model high standards of leadership and safety, directing cargo operators and crane crews in day-to-day activities.

You will coordinate with the Cargo Superintendent, OIM and onshore teams to plan, execute and review loading, offloading and maintenance tasks, while promoting training and incident reporting.

Qualifications

• STCW II/2 Chief Officer certification required.
• 3 years crude oil tanker experience on OOW, Chief Officer desirable.
• FPSO experience would be an advantage.
• Proficiency in English at least CEFR B1 level.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cargo loading and offloading operations.
• Monitor and supervise cargo utilities and maintenance.
• Delegate tasks and verify close-out of actions.
• Lead safety initiatives and incidents investigations.
• Coordinate with onshore and offshore departments.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards.
