Job summary

Boskalis seeks a Senior Technical Superintendent for its Fleet Management department in Aberdeen. You will act as an active central point of contact, ensuring safe, cost-efficient ship management for offshore energy vessels including DP operations.

The role requires DP2/DP3 experience, knowledge of offshore equipment, and strong English. Base in Aberdeen with 10–20% travel, full-time 40 hours weekly, with attractive benefits and Boskalis academy opportunities.

Qualifications

Higher/secondary vocational education in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
Knowledge of offshore equipment such as AHTS, CSV, DSV, CLV.
Experience with DP2/DP3 vessels including FMEA process.
Good command of English, written and spoken.
Team player with good communication and initiative.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with vessel crew and fleet team to keep vessels in operation and compliant with class, flag and OVID.
Promote SHEQ and NINA policies across activities.
Report work activities and progress to fleet team and operations manager.
Plan and budget repairs with Centre of Expertise and Docking Cell.
Oversee repairs, supervise crew and subcontractors within budget and quality standards.
Manage cost allocation for repairs, dockings and modifications.
