Job summary

Premier is hiring an Assistant Manager - Off-site Services to lead our home-based pet operations at the Thirsk rehoming centre. You will oversee daily activities, ensure high standards of animal care, and guide a team of Pet Welfare Assistants & Foster Coordinators to achieve adoption targets.

Qualifications

Significant experience in managing a team.
Significant experience delivering high level customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Significant subject matter expertise in pet welfare and handling of domestic animals.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Current full driving licence.
Ability to demonstrate our Blue Cross values.

Responsibilities

Lead the home-based pet operations team to ensure top-quality care.
Oversee daily activities, pet assessments, behavior management and training.
Support foster carers and ensure adoption targets are met.
Motivate and develop Pet Welfare Assistants & Foster Coordinators.
Work on a rota, including weekends and night checks with onsite accommodation for pets.
