Job summary

Blue Cross Burford rehoming centre seeks an Assistant Manager - Onsite Services to lead a team delivering high quality pet welfare, adoption workflows and client care. You will oversee the refill and adoption process and ensure seamless, compassionate service for clients and pets.

As a seasoned manager, you will coach staff and volunteers, deliver improvements, and maintain a welcoming public space while ensuring compliance with GDPR and safeguarding standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in rescue welfare environments.
• Significant experience delivering high levels of client service.
• Current full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Pet Welfare Assistants to ensure smooth refill and adoption stages.
• Work with operational colleagues to maintain a pipeline of pets and adopters.
• Uphold high standards for client experience and ensure GDPR compliance.
