Job summary

Priory Hospital Kneesworth House in Royston, Hertfordshire, is seeking an Occupational Therapist to help recover patients by delivering tailored treatment plans and maintaining high care standards. You will assess needs, provide individual and group therapy, and support junior colleagues.

The role involves close multidisciplinary collaboration and promoting OT services within the local network. The successful candidate will be HCPC registered with a Diploma in Occupational Therapy or equivalent;

Qualifications

• HCPC registration is required to practice as an OT.
• Diploma in Occupational Therapy or equivalent degree is essential.
• Experience in mental health inpatient services is beneficial.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and promote service development.
• Strong communication with patients, families and carers.

  Candidates must be HCPC registered and hold a Diploma in Occupational Therapy or a relevant degree (including honours degree, postgraduate certificate, postgraduate diploma, or Masters pre-registration qualification in Occupational Therapy), Experience working in a mental health inpatient service is beneficial
  Priory Hospital Kneesworth House, Royston, Hertfordshire is a level 2 rehabilitation service providing a range of specialist recovery pathways for adults within a purpose-built facility. It is accessible by public transport, with Royston railway station approximately 23 miles from the service and limited local bus links. Due to the location of the service, access to a vehicle or the ability to drive is recommended.
