Job summary

Priory Hospital Woodbourne in Edgbaston, Birmingham, is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a 9-month fixed-term contract. The role, within Allied Health Professionals and Psychology, is full-time (37.5 hours/week) and located on-site at Priory Hospital Woodbourne.

Priory Hospital Woodbourne, Edgbaston, Birmingham is looking for an Occupational Therapist to join the team on a 9-month fixed-term contract.

Priory Hospital Woodbourne, Edgbaston, Birmingham is a specialist inpatient and outpatient mental health service providing treatment for addictions and a range of mental health conditions, alongside assessments, therapy and psychiatry. It is accessible by public transport, with local bus routes serving Woodbourne Road and Five Ways railway station approximately 1–2 miles from the hospital.

What you'll be doing

As an Occupational Therapist, you’ll support patients to build the confidence, skills and coping strategies needed for greater independence. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you’ll provide evidence‑based, person‑centred assessments and interventions tailored to individual needs.

What you’ll bring to the role

Candidates must be HCPC registered and hold a Diploma in Occupational Therapy or a relevant degree (including honours degree, postgraduate certificate, postgraduate diploma, or Master’s pre‑registration qualification in Occupational Therapy)
