Priory Group at Priory Hospital Altrincham is seeking a HCPC registered Occupational Therapist to join our Allied Health Professionals and Psychology team on a permanent part-time basis (22.5 hours per week) at our site in Hale/Altrincham.

The role focuses on assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating interventions to promote independent living, with opportunities for professional development and IPD sponsorship, plus benefits such as free on-site parking and enhanced maternity pay.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered and Diploma in Occupational Therapy or equivalent are required.
• Experience in adult mental health settings is desirable.

Responsibilities

Priory Hospital Altrinchamhas an opportunity for a HCPC registered Occupational Therapist to join our team.

Priory Hospital Altrincham, Hale, Cheshire provides inpatient and outpatient treatment for a range of mental health conditions and addictions, including depression, anxiety disorders, stress, OCD, phobias, PTSD and bipolar disorder. It is accessible by public transport, with local bus routes serving Rappax Road and Altrincham railway station approximately 1-2 miles from the hospital.

In this role you will be required to manage patients using evidence based and patient centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions, which provide patients with the confidence, skills and coping strategies required for independent living. What you'll bring to the role

Essential
Candidates must be HCPC registered and hold a Diploma in Occupational Therapy or a relevant degree (including honours degree, postgraduate certificate, postgraduate diploma, or Master's pre-registration qualification in Occupational Therapy)
