Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated teacher to support a Reception child on a 1:1 basis at a Bristol primary school after half term. This long-term role focuses on play-based learning, early phonics and building confidence. You will work with the class teacher and support team to tailor activities and foster a nurturing environment.

The position offers weekly PAYE pay at daily rates of £92-£95, with CPD access and ongoing support from a Bristol-based consultant.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching within EYFS or Key Stage 1.
• Experience supporting children with additional needs (SEND) or willingness to develop these skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support for a Reception child, tailoring activities to their needs.
• Deliver play-based learning to develop early communication, phonics and early maths skills.
• Collaborate with the class teacher and wider support team to maintain consistent routines.
