Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking an Early Years Teacher to lead a Reception class in a welcoming primary school in Croydon, starting 12th October. The role focuses on delivering engaging EYFS learning experiences and supporting children's early development within a nurturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have QTS or equivalent, a solid understanding of EYFS and Development Matters, and experience delivering child-centred learning with strong communication with parents and staff.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Completion of an Initial Teacher Training programme.
• Experience teaching in EYFS, preferably Reception.
• Strong understanding of EYFS Statutory Framework and Development Matters.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality learning experiences in line with EYFS.
• Create a safe, nurturing classroom where children thrive.
• Monitor and record children's progress through observations.
• Support communication, language, literacy, numeracy and personal development.
• Work with Teaching Assistants to meet pupils' needs.
• Promote good behaviour and safeguarding.
