Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Teacher for a nursery setting in Bristol. You will deliver engaging learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework, fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment where children thrive.

You'll plan, monitor progress, build relationships with children and parents, and contribute to safeguarding and the wider life of the setting. This is a full-time role with a September start and opportunities for ongoing placements.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS).
• Experience working within an Early Years setting.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A nurturing, creative, and child-centred approach to teaching.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality learning experiences in line with the EYFS.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor, assess, and record children's progress and development.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
• Ensure safeguarding and welfare requirements are consistently met.
• Contribute to the wider life of the setting and continuous improvement initiatives.
