This is a full-time position commencing on 28th September and offered on a rolling basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a Nurture Teacher who is passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs and is committed to creating a calm, structured and engaging learning environment.

The successful candidate will join a dedicated team of staff who work collaboratively to provide a supportive and personalised approach to learning.
As a Nurture Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and accessible lessons to a Year 9 nurture group, with a particular focus on ICT and Media.
The successful Nurture Teacher will adapt teaching and learning to meet the individual needs, abilities and learning styles of pupils. You will use a range of teaching strategies and resources to encourage engagement, build confidence and support pupils to make progress.
The role will involve working closely with colleagues and the wider school team to support pupils' academic, social and emotional development. The successful Nurture Teacher will have a patient, consistent and nurturing approach, alongside strong classroom management skills and the ability to respond positively to individual pupil needs.
This opportunity would suit a Nurture Teacher with experience of working within an SEN or specialist education setting. Experience supporting pupils with additional learning needs, social and emotional needs or behavioural challenges would be advantageous.
