Job summary

Prospero Teaching is recruiting a Nurture Teacher for a supportive SEND school. You will plan differentiated lessons for pupils with ASC, SEMH, ADHD and other complex needs, in a nurturing setting that promotes emotional wellbeing.

You will build positive relationships with pupils and families, track progress, and collaborate with therapists and leaders to support vulnerable learners and their social, emotional, and academic development.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate a nurturing, trauma-informed approach to teaching.
• Experience in SEND, Alternative Provision, or similar settings.
• Strong classroom management and behaviour support skills.
• Patient, resilient and committed to vulnerable learners.

Are you a passionate and nurturing teacher looking to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)?

We are currently working with a highly supportive SEND school seeking a dedicated Nurture Teacher to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to support pupils who require a personalised approach to learning, helping them develop socially, emotionally, and academically within a safe and nurturing environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in creating positive learning experiences for pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), SEMH, ADHD, communication difficulties, and complex learning needs.

• Demonstrates a nurturing and trauma-informed approach to teaching.
• Has strong classroom management and behaviour support skills.
• Is patient, resilient, and passionate about supporting vulnerable learners.
• Can build positive and trusting relationships with pupils and colleagues.
