Job summary

TARA Professional Recruitment are working with a specialist SEN secondary school in Telford to recruit a Nurture Teacher for a Year 9 nurture provision focusing on ICT and Media. This full-time role starts 28th September, with a rolling contract and ongoing opportunities within a supportive team.

The ideal candidate will have QTS or a recognised teaching qualification and experience in SEN or specialist education, delivering engaging, accessible lessons and supporting pupils to build confidence

Qualifications

• Experience in secondary education preferred.
• Ability to adapt lessons for SEN pupils.
• Excellent communication with pupils, parents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Year 9 nurture group.
• Adapt teaching to individual pupil needs and learning styles.
• Collaborate with school team to support academic, social and emotional development.
