Job summary

Prospero Teaching is recruiting a Nurture Teacher for a warm SEND school in Northfleet. You will plan and deliver differentiated lessons and create a nurturing environment to support pupils with autism, SEMH, ADHD and other needs.

You will work with teaching assistants, therapists, and leaders to monitor progress, develop confidence and social skills, and promote emotional wellbeing in every pupil. QTS/QTLS or equivalent required.

Qualifications

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience working with pupils with SEND, ASC, SEMH, ADHD or similar needs.
• Demonstrates a nurturing, trauma-informed approach to teaching.
• Strong classroom management and behaviour support skills.

Are you a passionate and nurturing teacher looking to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)?

We are currently working with a highly supportive SEND school seeking a dedicated Nurture Teacher to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to support pupils who require a personalised approach to learning, helping them develop socially, emotionally, and academically within a safe and nurturing environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in creating positive learning experiences for pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), SEMH, ADHD, communication difficulties, and complex learning needs.

The Role

As a Nurture Teacher, you will:
