Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Leadership Team to implement innovative care models.
  • Lead the dementia care strategy and manage daily home operations.
  • Oversee staff recruitment, development, and retention.
  • Maintain financial oversight, ensuring efficient operations.
  • Prioritise health and safety for residents, staff, and visitors.
  • Handle complaints with professionalism and support staff development.
  • Ensure personalised, high-quality care for all residents.
  • Lead the medication management process and maintain clear communication.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for staff.
  • Uphold professional standards and ensure safeguarding policies are followed.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Level 4 or 5 qualification in Management (e.g., NVQ) is advantageous.
  • Leadership qualifications in health and social care (e.g., ILM, NVQ Level 5).
  • Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD) with a valid NMC PIN preferred.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a care setting.
  • Experience in dementia care or elderly care is essential.
  • GCSEs in English and Mathematics (or equivalent) required.
  • Enhanced DBS check required.
