Job Title: Nursing Home Manager

Overview

We are working with one of the fastest growing and best performing healthcare providers in the UK to recruit a Nursing Home Manager for their challenging behaviours facility in Sheffield. The home is very well staffed, with units each having a nurse, unit manager, and team of HCA's. They also have a clinical deputy to help you focus on managing the service.

This role will require you to have extensive knowledge of working with mental health/challenging behaviours nursing and recent experience of managing a service.

The company is extremely supportive and has an excellent structure to help you perform to the best of your ability. They also have large resources to help implement your ideas. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager!

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and lead a team of care staff, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care services
2. Manage the day-to-day running of the nursing home, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
3. Coordinate and oversee activities that promote the well-being of residents
4. Provide support and guidance to staff in delivering person-centred care
5. Monitor and manage residents' health needs, including medication administration
6. Implement dementia care best practices to support residents with memory loss
7. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and health and safety guidelines

Skills:

1. Proven experience in nursing home management
2. Strong leadership abilities with excellent supervisory skills
3. Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks effectively
4. Knowledge of mental health care practices and medication administration
5. Excellent communication skills to interact with residents, families, and staff members
6. Paid NMC Membership
