Leaders in Care is seeking a Deputy Manager to join an award-winning care home provider based in Blackburn. This role offers a competitive salary of £40,000 per year, excellent training and development pathways, and a range of benefits.

You will support the Manager, ensure care aligns with CQC standards, mentor staff, maintain staffing levels, and build strong relationships with healthcare professionals, families and social workers.

• Prior experience in a leadership role within an elderly residential setting.
• Good knowledge / use of care systems and governance.
• Commitment to providing the highest standards of resident care.

Responsabilidades

• Supporting the Manager in implementing all policies, procedures, and objectives.
• Ensuring care is delivered in line with CQC, Local Authority and other regulatory standards.

Duties in this Deputy Manager role include:

• Supporting the Manager in implementing all policies, procedures, and objectives
• Ensuring care is always delivered in line with the standards set out by the CQC, Local Authority and other relevant regulatory professional bodies.
• Being a great mentor who can provide support, guidance and leadership to the care home staff.
• Ensure adequate staffing is always maintained within the home.
• Build strong relationships with visiting healthcare professionals, families, and social workers.
