Leaders in Care is seeking a nurse-qualified Deputy Manager for a leading care home provider in Great Malvern. The role offers an excellent salary of £58,000 per year, plus induction, ongoing training, and a company pension.

You will support the Home Manager in daily operations, lead the clinical team, and ensure person-centred care for residents. Key duties include implementing policies, maintaining CQC standards, mentoring staff, and ensuring adequate staffing.

Qualifications

As Deputy Manager, youll support the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring the highest standards of clinical care and compliance are consistently delivered. Youll lead by example, supporting and developing the clinical team while ensuring residents receive person-centred care tailored to their individual needs.

Duties in this Deputy Manager role include:

• Supporting the Manager in implementing all policies, procedures, and objectives
• Ensuring care is always delivered in line with the standards set out by the CQC, Local Authority and other relevant regulatory professional bodies
• Being a great mentor who can provide support, guidance and leadership to the care home staff
• Ensure adequate staffing is always maintained within the home

Criteria to apply:

• Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN
• Strong leadership skills
• Good knowledge / use of clinical care systems and governance
• Prior experience in a senior clinical position within a care home
