Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd is seeking a Deputy Home Manager for a beautiful elderly residential care home in Cirencester. The role offers £43,000 per year, full-time (40 hours per week) and a clear leadership path to support the Home Manager in delivering person-centred care.

You will lead a team of care professionals, ensure CQC compliance and safeguarding best practices, and build strong partnerships with residents, families and external agencies.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 or 4 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
• Proven experience as Deputy Home Manager or a similar senior care role.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and safeguarding practices.
• Experience working with elderly client group; leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Home Manager in operational leadership of the care home.
• Ensure compliance with CQC standards and safeguarding protocols.
• Lead and mentor care staff; support supervision and professional development.
• Establish and action referral pathways for safeguarding adults and concerns of abuse.

Our client is looking for and experienced Deputy Home Manager to help lead the way, in their beautiful elderly residential care home.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in care home leadership, passionate about person-centred support, and confident navigating safeguarding responsibilities and CQC compliance.

As Deputy Home Manager, you’ll support the Home Manager in overseeing the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring a safe, caring, and empowering environment for residents.

You’ll lead a team of care professionals and work closely with families and external agencies to maintain exceptional care standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum Level 3 or 4 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
• Proven experience as a Deputy Home Manager or in a similar senior care role
