Job summary

Delphi Care Solutions is recruiting a committed Deputy Manager for a well-established residential care home in Bolton, Bolton, Greater Manchester. You will lead the staff team, ensure consistent, high-quality care and drive service improvement under the guidance of the Registered Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience as Senior Carer, Team Leader or Deputy Manager in residential care.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop staff to deliver person-centred care and maintain high standards.
• Maintain care plans and risk assessments; ensure regular reviews.
• Support admissions, occupancy growth and resident relations; deputise for the Registered Manager when required.

Job description

Residents receive the highest standards of care and support. Responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the overall management of the service. Leading, mentoring and developing the staff team. Ensuring care plans and risk assessments are accurate, effective and regularly reviewed. Promoting person-centred care and positive outcomes for residents. Maintaining compliance with CQC regulations and internal quality standards. Supporting recruitment, inductions, supervisions and staff development. Managing incidents, safeguarding concerns and operational challenges appropriately. Building strong relationships with residents, relatives and external professionals. Assisting with admissions and occupancy growth. Deputising for the Registered Manager when required.

About You

We would love to hear from candidates who have: Experience in a Senior Carer, Team Leader or Deputy Manager position within residential care. A strong understanding of CQC regulations and quality standards. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Experience supporting and developing care teams. A person-centred approach and genuine passion for delivering exceptional care. NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care as a minimum. Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification, or a willingness to work towards it.
