Job summary

Inspire Nursery in Knox, North Yorkshire is seeking a proactive Nursery Room Leader to guide a room, uphold high standards of care and help children flourish.

You will mentor staff, deliver outstanding early years learning aligned to EYFS, and work in a warm, supportive environment that values your leadership and professional development. Enhanced maternity/paternity leave and a generous pension accompany the role.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in an Early Years setting.
• Solid knowledge of EYFS and child development.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• A commitment to safeguarding children.

The Role

As a Nursery Room Leader, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of your allocated room, ensuring the highest standards of care, learning and development are maintained.

You’ll lead by example, support and mentor colleagues, and create a nurturing environment where children feel happy, safe and inspired to reach their full potential.

What We’re Looking For

NVQ Level 3 in Childcare (or an equivalent recognised qualification)

Experience working within an Early Years setting

Strong knowledge of child development and the EYFS

A passion for delivering outstanding care and learning experiences

Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Salary: £31532/annum + £5k Bonus + Benefits
