Job summary

Inspire nursery in SK1, Heaviley, Stockport is seeking a Nursery Room Leader to oversee the day-to-day running of your allocated room, upholding the highest standards of care, learning and development.

You will lead by example, mentor colleagues, and create a warm, safe environment where children thrive. NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and EYFS knowledge are essential, along with strong leadership and safeguarding commitment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Childcare (or equivalent)
• Experience working within an Early Years setting
• Strong knowledge of child development and the EYFS
• A passion for delivering outstanding care and learning experiences
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day running of your allocated room, ensuring high standards of care, learning and development.
• Support and mentor colleagues to create a nurturing environment where children feel happy and safe.
• Lead by example and contribute to the ongoing development of the team.
• Ensure safeguarding and welfare policies are rigorously followed.

The Role

What We’re Looking For

NVQ Level 3 in Childcare (or an equivalent recognised qualification)

Experience working within an Early Years setting

Strong knowledge of child development and the EYFS

A passion for delivering outstanding care and learning experiences

Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Salary: £29432/annum + £1,000 Bonus + Benefits
