Job summary

Catering is seeking a Nursery Room Leader to guide the day-to-day running of an Early Years room, ensuring top-quality care, learning and development. You will mentor staff and create a warm, safe environment where children can thrive and reach their full potential.

The role emphasizes leadership, safeguarding and a strong commitment to excellent outcomes for every child, with opportunities for career progression and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in an Early Years setting.
• Strong knowledge of child development and the EYFS.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day running of the allocated room and maintain high standards of care and development.
• Mentor and support colleagues to foster a nurturing environment.

The Role

As a Nursery Room Leader, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of your allocated room, ensuring the highest standards of care, learning and development are maintained.

What We're Looking For

• NVQ Level 3 in Childcare (or an equivalent recognised qualification)
• Experience working within an Early Years setting
• Strong knowledge of child development and the EYFS
• A passion for delivering outstanding care and learning experiences
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
